Safety Rules

Learn how to stay safe on VtubersTV.

Introduction

VtubersTV is a platform for Vtubers to share their content with the world. We want to ensure that all Vtubers and viewers have a safe and enjoyable experience on our platform. To help achieve this goal, we have established a system called Safety Rules that allows users to define rules for their content and interactions on VtubersTV.

By default, VtubersTV has a set of predefined Safety Rules that are designed to protect users from harmful content and interactions. However, users can also create their own rules to further customize their experience on the platform.

Predefined Safety Rules

  • Block csam content: Blocks terms related to explicit content such as "lolita", "shota", "kiddie", "kiddie", "cunny", and variants thereof.
  • Block hate speech: Prevents hate speech by blocking terms associated with racial, ethnic, or religious discrimination and violence-inciting ideologies.
  • Block offensive language: Filters out offensive language and profanity including terms like "fuck", "shit", "bitch", "cunt", "asshole", "bastard", and more.
  • Block self-harm content: Blocks terms associated with self-harm, suicide, depression, and related behaviors to promote mental health and safety.
  • Block sensitive information: Protects users by blocking the sharing of sensitive personal information such as social security numbers, credit card details, bank account numbers, and driver's license information.

Getting Started

When it comes to making a new rule, we have to use Regex to define the rule. This is a powerful tool that allows you to define patterns for matching strings. Here are some examples of rules that you can define using Regex:

/\b(?:f[u*][c*]k|s[h*][i1l!][t*]|b[i1l!][t*][c*]h|c[u*][n*]t|[a@][s*][s*]h[o0][l1i!][e3]|b[a@]st[a@]rd|m[o0][t*]h[e3]r f[u*][c*]k[e3]r)\b/gi
